First Tablet Flyer HTC from HTC with Android version 2.3

HTC plans to launch three tablet PCs in the first half of 2011 with the first model, the HTC Flyer, to be marketed in the U.S. market launch in March 2011, the info is obtained from sources in the handset component supliers. HTC Flyers, looks like a large version of the HTC smartphone Desire, will run on android 2.3.

Posible Flyer HTC is a manifestation of the rumors that had leaked previosly Scribe which is a tablet-size Android 3.0 7 inches.

HTC will launch the tablet Flyer in cooperation with telecom operators, which aims to boost sales a head of the launch of RIM'S Playbook tablet plan in March and Motorolla Xoom in April.

Users will be able to upgrade the OS to Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) when the new OS is available. Flyer will be available in other markets starting the second quarter of 2011. HTC expected to launch two other tablets in June runs on Android 3.0.
